Vision: inspire entrepreneurs to implement the blue innovations in their region/industry and thereby create 100 million jobs over the next decade. Less talking, more doing.

Our Strategy to get there - and thus priorities so far in building this community:

1. Publish the first weekly cases including the detailed description (but not yet the scientific documentation)

2. Generate interest and build large network (facebook, twitter - high conversion rate to community members if possible!)

3. Win multipliers and partners in different countries (e.g. TEDx in Japan, local ZERI groups, ...)

4. Begin turning community into a 'workspace' - what is needed to make this happen? what do you members need to become entrepreneurs?


This is where the discussion really begins. We had originally planned to have separate groups/discussion forums for the individual innovations and open them only to practitioners. However, we feel that this might discourage people still in the early stages of developing their own projects. On the other hand, we want to avoid some self-anointed 'experts' posting in every forum until the people wanting to get things DONE lose interest. How do we find the right balance here?

What kind of content do you as members expect to see in this community - what should be accessible by whom? We have disabled numerous functions at the moment, like drawing boards, file sharing, video conferencing, webinars, shop, etc. Ideally, someone wanting to 'harvest' maggots in Brazil should find a company like Advanced Gel Technologies say in Canada to export the enzymes to; find people to share experience with on how best to keep the birds out / the flies in one area etc. etc. This is our vision for this community - how do we make it real?
